I grew up between Colombo and a tea estate above Hatton, and I have been guiding travellers through Sri Lanka for over thirty years. I know which dawn light makes Sigiriya worth the climb, which fishing village still cooks the old way, and which back road avoids the coaches.
Tours of Ceylon began with a simple conviction: that a country this layered deserves to be travelled slowly, with someone who genuinely loves it. Not an algorithm, not a call-centre — a person who has stood where you are about to stand.
People do not remember itineraries. They remember a conversation with a stranger, a meal they did not expect, a moment of quiet in a place a thousand years old. My job is to build the conditions for those moments — then get out of the way.
